During my spring break, the farthest I'm going to go is Iron mountain because that is where my high school soccer practice is held, and where I work. I wont be able to relax that much but at least I'll stay busy.

Many families go to fun warm places over spring break. Well I can tell you that I'm not one of those lucky families. I'm going to work at Shopko and go to my high school soccer practices. That is what my spring break consists of. If I were to go somewhere, I'd use google maps to figure out where I could go to eat, where I'm staying at, and if there are any cool sites to see, I could go onto google maps and see if I would be interested in it.
Tonight there is a home boys basketball game! The students have come up with wearing the #UKNIGHTED shirts and anything else that's navy blue! Wear beads, bandannas, basically if you have anything navy blue, wear it!! Be there at 6!
The Pursuit of Happiness: “You got a dream… You gotta protect it. People can’t do somethin’ themselves, they wanna tell you that you can’t do it. If you want somethin’, go get it. Period.”
In an article that I read, it said there are seven things that schools fail to teach kids. I agree with this article because schools don't teach us that failing is a good thing. 'If you fail in school you will get no where in life." This is something we hear on a daily basis, but failing is actually a good thing. If you fail you can learn from your mistakes. School wasn't that place that told me it was good to fail. I was told by coaches, inspirational videos, commercials on TV, and speakers. |
